Q: I am currently resigning from my job with 30 days` notice. My new employer is asking me to push my current employer to cancel my visa so they can begin the process of my new visa, but do they have to wait until my last working day?

س: السلام عليكم، شكرا" لكم لإتاحة الفرصة للاستفسارات. كنت مقيم فى قطر لمدة خمس سنوات اقترضت خلالها مبلغ كبير من بنك له فروع هنا فى الإمارات وبلدي الأصلي، وكنت منتظماً فى السداد لمدة أربع أعوام ثم فقدت وظيفتى وتعثرت عن السداد منذ ديسمبر الماضى. أنا أنوي السداد لكن البنك بدأ يهدني بتقديم أوراقي للسلطات هنا فى دبي وفى بلدي ويهدد بتدخل الإنتربول. فهل يستطيع البنك فعلاً تقديم شكوى ضدي هنا فى الإمارات علماً بأن القرض كان فى قطر؟ وما هى عقوبة السجن لا قدر الله إذا لم أحصل على وظيفه قبل تقديم شكوى إذا كان المبلغ المتبقى 188 ألف درهم؟

Q: Dear Sir/Madam I have recently been moved to Cyprus by a company which offered me a salary of 1600 euro + first months deposit money. On the 7th of may, I arrived, and on the 21st, they sacked me. On the 20th, I put a deposit down for a place (while employed). Now the company only wants to pay me for the 1 week I worked and it`s refusing to pay me my first month`s deposit but I signed the agreement that stated I`m entitled to a 500 euro worth of a deposit. I`m really looking for advice before I say anything wrong.

Q: I have an unpaid credit card in the UAE. I no longer live in the UAE. However, I am trying to make payments as best I can. ENBD has referred the account to a collection agency, who is, of course, threatening with civil action and a "lifetime" GCC travel ban. Q: Q1- A loan agreement was signed between P1 and P2 for a fund to be put in a trading as a favour from P2 to P1. P2 changed his mind and did not release the fund. Trading proceeded with another fund and the return during the agreed period was substantial. Is P2 liable to P1 for the earnings which could have been realized? Q2- A trading fund was in operation based on an agreement between P1 and P2. P1 owed P2 $X to be paid over 18 months. P1 funded the P2 account for the entire loan plus interest. P2 allowed P1 to trade with the fund as long as the loan liability is covered and loan payment is paid from proceeds, it was agreed that additional profit over the loan payments can be withdrawn by P1. P2 had full control over the funds but not the trading. P2 changed his mind and added 20% buffer to remain in the account as added security. The trading hit a downturn and fund got liquidated. Is P2 liable for the loss of the 20% additional buffer which he required to keep in the trading fund?

ضمان البنك لحقه في تحصيل ديون البطاقة الائتمانية

س: شكراً لردك. أود الاشارة أن قيمة البطاقة الائتمانية 120 ألف والبنك يريد مع الفوائد 170 ألف، وشيك الضمان 100 ألف فقط. في حال دفع شيك الضمان 100 ألف، هل يحق للبنك مطالبتي بالباقي؟ وكيف يطالبني إذا كان الشيك قد تم دفعه؟
