Because I have a court fine, they refused to take me and sent me to the Sharjah police. When I went there, I told the officer in charge that I couldn't pay and that I wanted to serve jail time and be released once I completed the required days. The officer did not accept me and sent me to apply for an instalment plan. However, my instalment application was rejected; they said instalment payments are not being accepted at the moment and that the order came from the Abu Dhabi court. Now I am really hopeless and feel I cannot live here anymore.

What should we do if, after filing a complaint with MOHRE, the company has already paid all our salaries? Do we still need to report to work? Should we submit a resignation to avoid being tagged as absconded, or what would be the best solution? Because, for us as employees, we don’t want to go back to work after what happened.

I did an offer and deposit case on 18 February 2025 to renew the Ejari at the same rate of AED 80,000 with 4 cheques. Expiry date of previous Ejari was 24 February 2025. I got Ejari from RDC, and everything was smooth for the year 25/26. However, the bank had our cheque returned due to an irregular signature. As the landlord, which is a property management company, has a bully lawyer, he didn't want to accept cash nor a bank transfer, or another cheque. So I had to do another offer and deposit case on top of the one I did on 18th February. The lawyer of the landlord has sent me an eviction notice stating it is not legally permissible for me to link the new offer and deposit to pay the 20,000 AED installment from 25 August 2025 to 24 November 2025. However, the RDC judge had approved my offer and deposit and sent me a pay order, which I have paid. I want to know whether this eviction will stand, as RDC will only give this cash to the landlord, or if they need NOC from the landlord to return the money to me. Kindly help

Hello, I have been working at a company in DMCC for nearly 5 years. I work in sales with varying annual results, ranging from overachieving to underachieving in a difficult market. This year, my manager gave me a very high target and lower targets to my colleagues. Our sales are mostly achieved in the last 3 months of the year when companies finally spend their annual budget. Now, my manager has suddenly decided to terminate me without any warning because of performance issues. They are offering to pay the minimum end-of-service gratuity plus 3 months’ basic salary and unpaid leave days.
