Q: Hi I was working with a company for last 3.10 years. In 2018 and because of the financial problems, the company was struggling to pay salaries to the employees and most of the employees got terminated or resigned. I also started searching for a new job as I was getting half of my salary for 6 months. Fortunately, I got a new job and the company asked me to join immediately. I requested my current company to cancel my visa as soon as possible and they agreed. I cancelled my family visa and they ask me to sign the cancellation paper and the settlement will be processed within 2 weeks. Because of the urgency, I signed the paper by believing the company. But now they are not paying the amount and simply avoiding me with some excuses. I was struggling with my family for 6 months with half a salary and now they cheated me also. Please advise me, what do I need to do with this?

Q: For the last 2 years, I worked for a contracting firm. My salary was AED 8000/month but usually, my employer used to give me 2-3k monthly or sometimes less than this. The salary transaction is easily reflect-able on my salary statement. Q: Sir, I joined a private company in 27/09/2014 on an unlimited contract. Based on the basic AED 2000 & HRA 3500 (Total AED 5500), I got the annual leave salary up to Sep 2018. In August 2019, the company reduced my basic to AED 1500 & HRA as AED 2500 (Total AED 4000). My accumulated leave was from 1st Oct 2018. I applied for my vacation and it was approved but the company wants to consider the revised salary (Basic & HRA) also. Now the company wants to consider the new salary and deduct the excess paid before as leave salary since the basic and accommodation is lowered as mentioned excess paid during previous leave salary. Recently my company reduced basic and HRA from 01/08/2019.

My job is Office Assistant and the office I'm working with didn't renew the contract from my company. Now, my company wants to send me to another Emirate which is Ras Al Khaimah. Q: Hello, To anyone who has a good heart to provide me free legal advice for my concern. My company is forcing me to sign an Arabic suing letter and it is really against my will since when I asked my friends to translate it, it was different from what I said and explained. Now they are threatening me that I will go to jail, They don't want to process my vacation leave, vacation pay, gratuity, and even my 2 months delayed salary unless I sign the paper. This week is also my wife's delivery for which an original passport is required, but they don't want to release my passport.
