أنا في الهند. برجاء إبداء المشورة حول مشكلة مستمرة معي منذ العامين الماضيين بدون أي سبب، أو يمكنكِ القول بأني أعاني دون خطأ مني.
لقد أصدرت شيكات في تسوية قضية مدنية لقريبي. كانت المطالبة بمبلغ 2.2 مليون درهم إماراتي مقسمة على 12 شيك بقيمة 20 ألف لكل شيك، وباقي المبلغ 1.7 مليون درهم إماراتي تقريبًا يدفع في خلال 13 شهرًا.
كتب في الاتفاقية بوضوح أنه بمجرد أن يحصل قريبي على دفتر الشيكات الخاص به من البنك، سيتم استبدال جميع شيكاتي بالشيكات الجديدة.
وحيث أن قريبي قد انتهت تأشيرته، فقد استغرق اصداره لدفتر الشيكات الخاص به شهرين. رفض محامي الطرف الآخر أن يستبدل الشيكات الخاصة بي، وقال أنه إذا أردت أن أستبدل الشيكات، فسوف يحتفظون بشيكاتي كضمان.
لذا، فلم نتمكن من استبدال شيكاتي بالشيكات الجديدة. قام بإيداع شيكاتي في البنك لصرفها وغادرت البلد في أغسطس 2016. أنا لا أزال خارج البلد، وقريبي في الإمارات يحاول تدبير المبلغ دون جدوى.
لقد خسرت سنوات خبرتي الاثني عشر في دبي ولا أزاول أي عمل الآن. لا أدري هل سأواجه أي مشاكل في الهجرة إلى قطر أم لا.

Will the UAE travel ban affect you across all GCC Countries starting from January 2025?
Q: Hello,
I'm seeking legal advice on behalf of a friend who has outstanding personal and business loans in the UAE that have been overdue since 2015.
He is currently outside the UAE and there are indications that legal action—including a travel ban—might have been taken against him.
He has renewed his passport and now holds a new one.
I have two main concerns:
1. Travel to Other GCC Countries:
- Can he travel to other GCC countries, such as Qatar, without facing arrest at immigration due to his unpaid UAE loans?
- I have heard that starting from January 2025, the Immigration Systems will be linked across all GCC Countries. Will that affect him?
2. Re-entry into the UAE:
- Is it possible for him to obtain a visa and re-enter the UAE?
- If he enters the UAE, would he risk arrest, or is there a legal pathway that would allow him to settle his debts through installments or other means?
- Can the existing cases be resolved in a manner that permits legal re-entry?

It also caused significant emotional distress, less than 24 hours before the holiday. To which authority can a complaint be made in case of an unsatisfactory outcome?
Both the agency and the hotel are in Dubai.

Can I request reopening a civil case if the judgment was in my absence due to sending notices to the wrong address?
Lawyers misunderstood my question. Please read carefully and then guide me.
Case Type: Civil Case
Claim amount: 400,000
Paid: 65,000
Reason: Commercial agreement of supply
Emirate: Ajman
This case was registered in 2022. The judgment was in my absence, as notices were sent to the wrong address.
I was sent to jail. I made a down payment, bailed, and paid some more amount as installments. The total paid amount is AED 65000.
Now, again, an arrest warrant is issued as I did not pay the remaining 335,000 of the claim.
According to me, I had to pay only this amount because the executioner made a wrong claim, not as per the genuine claim.
So I want to reopen the case file.
I want the court to reinvestigate and start the case from scratch.
1) How can I make that request?
2) What documents are required?
3) Chances of reopening of case?
4) Cancellation of arrest warrant
Please guide me in detail, as I will do everything myself, as I cannot afford a lawyer right now.

I have applied for a credit card with a well-known bank here in Dubai.
During the verification course from the bank, they sent my salary certificate to our company's info at an email address to which half of the staff have access.
I have been told by several members of my staff, that they received this email. I am the Deputy CEO of the company and obviously, this is not a light matter.
I have contacted the bank and they have offered me vouchers for AED 1000 and then 2000 but I want to press charges for a serious offence and go for punitive damage.
I know the latter is not a usual practice in the UAE, but I want to explore my options. I have also informed the Central Bank, but they say I must wait 30 days before proceeding.

A bank has filed an execution cheques case through the Dubai Courts due to nonpayment of a personal loan and credit card.
Is a travel ban automatically applied?
I looked on the Dubai Courts website, and it says the judge has issued a “reserved” order for my case.
Furthermore, when the bank emails, they threaten me with a travel ban. So I am assuming there is no travel ban issued (but I don’t know). I haven’t received any notice of a travel ban.
If there is a travel ban, how do I find out?
I have checked the Dubai police app, and there are no financial crimes against me.

My Dubai landlord (Omani) switched off the AC cooling in my rented flat after demanding a rent increase of over 50%. Even after winning the case at RDC and renewing Ejari through the court, he still has not restarted the AC cooling.

I am residing in Al Nahda 2 area, and the real estate company is asking me for a 10% rent increase from last year. However, checking RERA, there is no increase in the rates in my area as checked today.
Once I told my real estate the same, they said it had to be checked 3 months ago from now. Also, the area they have shown in their RERA is Al Nahda 1, while I reside in Al Nahda 2.
