My spouse's visa was rejected due to an administrative issue. What does that mean?
Hi,
I applied for my spouse's visa and entry permit, but it was rejected due to an administrative issue.
I don’t know what that means. Can anyone explain what an administrative issue is?
Dear valued customers,
We can perform a complete scan of all UAE systems to check whether or not you have a status or ban and recommend the best approach to resolve it.
The service price is 1000 dirhams. If you are interested, please send us a copy of your passport or Emirates ID to [----------] via WhatsApp.

We kindly request that you issue a Power of Attorney (POA) in our favor so that we can check with Immigration and CID on your behalf.
This will allow us to verify whether there are any issues registered under your name, or if there is a case of mistaken identity involving someone with a similar appearance or name on the blacklist.
Should you require assistance in preparing the POA or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at [-----------] or via email at [-----------].
Best regards,
Nada Elmawi
In the UAE, a spouse visa (entry permit) rejection due to an "administrative issue" typically refers to non-criminal, internal matters such as missing or incorrectly attested documents, data mismatches, outdated sponsor records, visa quota limitations, or technical errors in the immigration system.
It may also relate to past visa violations or restrictions based on the sponsor’s profession or salary. To resolve the issue, it is advisable to visit the relevant immigration office (GDRFA or ICP).

Thank You!
Dear questioner,
It can be due to reasons such as fraud, a pending case file, or even small fraudulent transactions, which may lead to the administrative rejection of visa approval. The exact reason is usually not disclosed.
