س: أعمل لدى شركة بعقد غير محدد المدة وهذا هو الشهر الثالث لي في هذه الوظيفة، وسؤالي هو إذا قررت الشركة إنهاء عقدي لأن آدائي لا يرقى إلى المستوى المطلوب مثلًا، فهل عليّ رد ثمن التأشيرة وتذكرة الطيران والتدريب للشركة؟
مع العلم أنه خلال عملية التوظيف، جعلتني الشركة أوقع على إقرار بأنني إذا تركت العمل قبل 3 سنوات، سوف يتوجب عليّ رد ثمن التأشيرة وتذكرة الطيران والتدريب.

س: سيدي العزيز،
إن عقد العمل الخاص بي هو عقد غير محدد المدة للمناطق الحرة (منطقة جبل علي الحرة).
تم إنهاء عملي بشكل تعسفي في 09 ديسمبر 2018، وبعد أن أمضيت فترة الإشعار المدفوعة لمدة 90 يومًا، انتهت فترة عملي في 08 مارس 2019.
أنا الآن بصدد الحصول على مستحقات نهاية خدمتي، وهناك توضيح مطلوب فيما يتعلق بالأساس الذي يستند إليه حساب الاستحقاقات.
الاستفسارات كالتالي:
سداد تذاكر الطيران بسبب الإنهاء العمل:
لقد وقعت على اتفاق داخلي مع الشركة للحصول على تذاكر طيران سنوية عائلية على الدرجة الاقتصادية (للزوجة والأبناء) إلى مدينتي، لكل سنة من سنوات العمل.
في حالة الإنهاء التعسفي، فما الذي سأحصل عليه؟
أ) تذاكر ذهاب وعودة جوية لي ولأسرتي؟
ب) تذاكر ذهاب وعودة جوية لي فقط؟
ج) أو ستكون تذاكر طيران اتجاه واحد لي ولأسرتي؟
د) أو ستكون تذكرة طيران اتجاه واحد لي فقط؟
هل يمكنك أن توضحي لي وتزوديني بآخر تحديث صحيح للفقرة رقم # من قانون العمل الإماراتي للاطلاع على التفسير الصحيح لما ورد أعلاه.

لقد أكملت عقدي وتنتهي تأشيرة الإمارات الخاصة بي في الخامس من نوفمبر، لكن صاحب العمل يرفض تسوية جميع مستحقاتي، وهو يدين لنا بمرتب ثلاثة أشهر.
أسبابه هي أنه ينتظر أن يدفع له عملاؤه حتى يستطيع تسوية مستحقاتي.
الكثير من الناس أكملوا عقودهم قبلي ولم يسووا لهم بعد، لقد أقاموا في غرفة لمدة ثلاثة أشهر بعد انتهاء مدة الإقامة المسموحة، ولا أريد البقاء بمثل هذه الطريقة.

I got a judgment from Dubai Court stating that the employer should do my settlement. It’s been years, but I still haven't received the payment in my account.
When I checked with Al Adheed Center, they said if the company is not active, it’s not possible to get the money.
However, it’s a group of companies, and a few branches are still running. Is there any chance to claim it, or can I appeal directly to the court?

Can I file a case against a friend for privacy breach if he claimed I scolded him for his act?
On Jan 2, 2025, one of my close friends did a privacy breach and recorded me and my van in some specific place.
On Feb 5, when I called and asked him why he did this to me, he went and gave a complaint that I scolded him and threatened him.
The same case was later closed by the PP when we negotiated outside the station and apologized.
At this juncture, can I file a privacy breach case against him, which happened on Jan 2, 2025, and on Feb 5 I scolded him only for the privacy breach that happened on Jan 2?

I purchased a tour voucher from a holiday agency in Dubai in 2023 worth AED 4239.00, but was not able to use it due to a visa problem.
I have constant email and communication through phone with them, and they informed me back then that my voucher will be available and has no expiration date that I can use anytime I want.
Now I wanted to use it, so I called them last Saturday, 31st May 2025, and they told me it has already expired due to the new policy.
Can I still claim and ask for my money back?

Landlord cashed my rent but won’t renew Ejari unless I accept a higher deposit. What should I do?
Hello,
I had a rental dispute case with my landlord. Based on the judgment, I paid the entire rent to the landlord, which the landlord has already cashed.
He is not issuing the Ejari because he wants to increase the security deposit by 10% every year, which I am not accepting. I have already given the 5% security deposit.
The landlord is not accepting it. He is forcing me to sign a new agreement, otherwise he will not renew the lease agreement.
Please let me know what I should do.

Cargo from Dubai to India arrived late and damaged. What should I do?

I had sent a cargo from Dubai to India. I received the cargo late and with 35% damage. My TV, for which I had paid AED 1500 separately as cargo fees, was received after nearly 2 months in a completely damaged condition.
The cooking range was received after nearly 6 months and had superficial damage. They are not replying to my emails but are only responding through WhatsApp.

How can I remove a travel ban or avoid arrest if I left the UAE with an unpaid rent case?
In 2018, I was involved in a dispute concerning unpaid rent related to a property managed by [-----] under the jurisdiction of the Land Department. [----] proceeded with legal action, resulting in a civil case and the imposition of a travel ban.
A civil case had been reported in an Arabic-language newspaper. Not being fluent in Arabic, I missed the Land Department hearing, and the obvious outcome included an order for payment and a travel ban, but I had already left the country by that time.

How can my kids learn about their father's condition without contacting his family?
Good morning,
I have two kids. Their father is in critical care and is not able to communicate, and we have been divorced for more than seven years.
The other side of the family is not communicating with the kids about the father's whereabouts for them to visit him, and they have not been in touch with the kids for the past two weeks due to family issues that took place in court regarding guardianship of the kids.

I received a termination letter from my company for restructuring. Is this considered arbitrary dismissal?
I received a termination letter from my company on January 31st, 2025, with a one-month notice period, stating my last working day as February 28th, 2025.
The reason given for the termination is "considering the current business scenario, the company has considered measures to reorganize the business."

Do I need to hire a lawyer if I found I have a marital case against me in the court?
By checking in Al Adheed, I have found there is a marital matter case against me in Dubai Courts. There is a hearing date for next week and the time mentioned in the case status with a link for an online hearing.
However, I have not received any message from Dubai courts regarding this by mail or phone. I have all contact details updated with EID. In this case, what should I do?
