Hi to all the respected lawyers here. I have a criminal case, and I fought for a long time to remove the 1st and 2nd judgments, which were deportation and jail time. In my final judgement, my penalty is AED 10,000. Last year, during amnesty, since I couldn't pay the 10,000 AED (I am a single mother with a 2-year-old baby), I decided to surrender at the police station. Because I have a court fine, they refused to take me and sent me to the Sharjah police. When I went there, I told the officer in charge that I couldn't pay and that I wanted to serve jail time and be released once I completed the required days. The officer did not accept me and sent me to apply for an instalment plan. However, my instalment application was rejected; they said instalment payments are not being accepted at the moment and that the order came from the Abu Dhabi court. Now I am really hopeless and feel I cannot live here anymore.

I had a loan & credit cards in the UAE, and during my vacation, I lost my job. I still paid the installments, but  I couldn’t find a job for one year. I left and am now getting a job in Bahrain. I want to clear my loans in the UAE because it’s been two years. Can I easily travel to Bahrain, or is it a problem, as it is a GCC country? And how can I ask the bank to waive the interest amount? I really need to clear off the debt with banks at the earliest now.

What should we do if, after filing a complaint with MOHRE, the company has already paid all our salaries? Do we still need to report to work? Should we submit a resignation to avoid being tagged as absconded, or what would be the best solution? Because, for us as employees, we don’t want to go back to work after what happened.

Hello, After the agreement between both employee and employer for no need of the 1-month notice after resignation, can I still get my gratuity and annual leave pay?

I have a misdemeanor case under investigation. What can I do and what can I expect? I got involved in a bar fight when my friend was punched in the face by the complainant. When I was about to approach him to ask him about it, he shoved me in the head. I lost balance and I grabbed him, and we both fell down, then my friend and his colleagues started beating him. CID called me for an interview, telling me that the guy complained about his watch, which I didn't steal. Then he also complained about the harassment. Which I didn't do as well. Now, the report is saying that I have charges of indecent assault, public intoxication, causing a riot, and public cursing. Please help me decide what to do! I did an offer and deposit case on 18 February 2025 to renew the Ejari at the same rate of AED 80,000 with 4 cheques. Expiry date of previous Ejari was 24 February 2025. I got Ejari from RDC, and everything was smooth for the year 25/26. However, the bank had our cheque returned due to an irregular signature. As the landlord, which is a property management company, has a bully lawyer, he didn't want to accept cash nor a bank transfer, or another cheque. So I had to do another offer and deposit case on top of the one I did on 18th February. The lawyer of the landlord has sent me an eviction notice stating it is not legally permissible for me to link the new offer and deposit to pay the 20,000 AED installment from 25 August 2025 to 24 November 2025. However, the RDC judge had approved my offer and deposit and sent me a pay order, which I have paid. I want to know whether this eviction will stand, as RDC will only give this cash to the landlord, or if they need NOC from the landlord to return the money to me. Kindly help

I would like some advice. Someone has been deported from the UAE after serving 1.5 years in jail for a drug case and has a lifetime travel ban.  Does this ban remain only in the UAE, or is it applicable to other GCC countries such as KSA, Qatar, or Oman? What does “Dispositioned” mean in a UAE - Abu Dhabi case? We have a Tanazul, but the case status is showing Judgment Done, with a 15,000 AED fine and 6 months' prison reserved. Does this mean he will go to prison? We missed one hearing on 28/08/2025. After that, we thought we had Tanazul, so we went to collect the passport, as I am the surety for my father. However, at the police station, they stopped him, saying he had a Tameem. Please help and advise what will happen. We have Tanazul, but the judgment is already done, and no appeal has been filed yet. The status shows Judgment Done on 28/08/2025. We missed the hearing that day, the prison sentence of 6 months is reserved, and a 15,000 AED fine has been issued. What should we do?
