What's included
- Document review (1 hour). The lawyer will review your employment agreement.
- Employment advice session (1 hour). Based on the review of your labour contract, the attorney will give you answers and legal advice needed. The advice session can be in the form of a personal or online meeting.
- Privacy. All documents you share and everything you discuss with your lawyer is protected by attorney-client privilege.
What's not included
- Reviewing the contract for more than one hour. The lawyer will not spend more than one hour for reviewing your employment contract. In most cases, one hour is enough to review standard labour contracts or not very extensive employment agreements (up to 10 pages). In any case, the attorney will go through the contract and will do their best to provide you with advice based on the results of such review.
- Long distance telephone calls. If you are based outside the UAE then probably you will need to call the lawyer yourself, or agree on some other way of voice communication.
- Any additional advice or work by the attorney beyond those mentioned above.
Most people get the answers they need regarding their employment issues during the advice session. But if your case requires additional work – for example, your contract is too long and complicated to be reviewed within one hour – you can talk to the attorney about hiring them for extra work.
