Using the new insolvency law to enter the UAE while there is an unpaid loan

Q: Dear sir/madam, I have a loan with a bank in the UAE. When I left, my gratuity was used as payment but I still owe some money. I tried to pay since going back to my home country but it has been financially hard. Recently, the bank filed a court case. They sent me the documents. I have every intention of paying but I can`t right now and I have decided that the only way to pay is to just come back to the UAE. My question is: Can I use the new insolvency law to get into the country if I am offered a job in the UAE?

Q: Dear sir/madam, I need advice or suggestion regarding my case. I am a specialist doctor working in an MOH Govt job and I got a call from a private hospital in Dubai. CV was short-listed an interview was done and I was selected, then I received an e-offer letter and after accepting it, a final offer letter was signed. They asked me to resign from my job which I did with 1 month`s notice. Now after the cancellation of the license, they have to apply for a new license. For one month, I was waiting and asking for joining. Out of sudden, they are saying that they are not able to obtain a license from MOH because this category of the previous license is not applicable to the private sector. From the start, I kept mentioning and asking to be sure; they said no issue will be for getting it. Now they said they can`t. Now, I don`t know what can I do. I lost my previous job because of them. I want to know what legal rights I have, and what legal action I can take against the new company.

How to deal with manager's harassment?

My tenant is due to move out of my apartment and he will delay it one week

Q: Hello, I need some advice. My tenant is due to move out of my apartment at the end of this month as per the contact dates. They are now saying that they need an extra week before vacating due to not being able to source movers. It is my strong belief that they will be subletting for this additional week as this is what they did with the previous owner. I want them out so I can move in asap. Q: Hello. I am working in Dubai free zone, an outsourcing city for the last 3 months. I`m still on probation as our probation period is of 6 months. I`ve got my Emirates ID. Q: Hi, I hope someone can give clarity to my situation. My tenancy contract in Sharjah expired last Feb 2022 but we were unable to renew due to financial difficulties. We stayed in the same flat and in Aug, we received a notice from Sharjah Municipality regarding a case filed against me for non-payment of rent. We went to the real estate office, paid a certain amount of what we had, and they assured us we can continue to stay in the flat so long as we pay the full amount by Dec. After a month, Municipality came and evicted us from the flat. We submitted a request and we were granted by the judge 1 week to take our things and move out. My question is since I already have an existing rental dispute case but I don`t have a current contract, how can I cancel our SEWA connection after moving out? I understand that the case will continue to be active until I pay in full the amount stated in the dispute case, but will I be able to cancel my existing SEWA connection in this situation? Please help!

Carrying prohibited drugs necessary for a child while travelng to the UAE

Q: Dear sir/madam, I will be traveling to the UAE on a visit visa with my family. My 3-year-old child gets seizures when he has a fever and so we need to keep two drugs with us at all times which are Clobazam and Midazolam which appears to be on the scheduled 1v of prohibited drugs list which probably means I can`t bring the meds with us. However, as you can guess, we cannot go without the meds as they are anti-seizure so please advise if we can carry them with a prescription.

Filing one lawsuit against a company by three different plaintiffs

Q: Dear sir/madam, We are three separate creditors. One company owes us money (three different amounts, three different unrelated reasons). Is it possible that we make one lawsuit with three of us as plaintiffs, and each plaintiff writes his pleas? The company is the sole respondent. Then the court issues one verdict mentioning the rights of each of the three plaintiffs. Or do we need to register three separate lawsuits?

أقر القانون عدد 46 لسنة 1992 المؤرخ في 04\05\1992 مبدأ المفعول المنشئ للترسيم، إلا أنه أجل تنفيذه مدة ثلاث سنوات من تاريخه، ثم مدد المشرع في الأجل مدة ثلاث سنوات أخرى بمقتضى القانون عدد 37 لسنة 1995 المؤرخ في 24\04\1995، ثم مدد فيه مدة ثلاث سنوات أخرى بموجب القانون عدد 30 لسنة 1998 المؤرخ في 20\04\1998، غير أنه استثنى من التمديد الرسوم العقارية المحدثة بعد دخوله حيز النفاذ، أي أن كل رسم محدث بعد قانون 1998 أصبح خاضعا للأثر المنشئ للترسيم.
