An employer insists to serve 53 days after termination. What should the employee do?
Q: Dear sir/madam, I am currently employed in Tecom Area, Dubai. My employer tendered me a notice of termination for my employment contract within the 6 months probation period. The employer told me I need to work 53 days more after the termination notice is served. Do I have the right to insist to have my visa canceled if I find a new job after 14 days from my termination notice? How do I resolve my issue if my employer will not cancel my visa and insisted I should finish the 53 days period he provided?

Deducting the insurance amount upon resignation by the employer
Q: Hi, I worked for a company for 8 years and 4 months. I got another job opportunity and I resigned on July 13th, 2022. I served my 30 days notice period and my employer asked me to stay till 20th Aug 2022. I agreed and I followed up for the EOSB and my cancellation paper. The company did not give me till 25th Aug 2022. On 25th Aug 2022, the company asked me to get balance confirmation (outstanding payments) from my clients, which is not possible in one day. Then I filed a complaint in MOHRE. MOHRE tried to resolve the issue amicably. But the employer refused to settle. Now the case has gone to court. My Employer is asking the following things: 1. Insurance company has paid for my daughter for the last 4 years. They want to deduct that amount. 2. They want me to get one letter signed from the client stating that they will pay the company within a certain period. My next job is getting affected; the new company might not wait for this long. Getting a job offer in the UAE while there is unpaid bank loan
Q: Hello, I have unpaid dues on a credit card with one bank (approximately 7000 AED) and a loan with another bank (approximately 28000 AED). Due to the pandemic, unfortunately, I was terminated from my work and thus had to return to my home country. I’m behind on payments for over 1 year to date. Issuing a travel ban while installments are paid on time from abroad
Q: Hello, I need urgent advice. I left the UAE 2 years ago with an outstanding amount of a personal loan. The collection department called me the first month after that to discuss my situation and I continued to pay my monthly installments with a bank transfer without any unpaid till now. How to restructure a loan for the second time due to job loss?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I was living and working in Dubai and had a personal loan in the amount of AED 1,000,000. I was paying my monthly payment of about AED 23,000/month regularly but then I lost my job. I went to the bank and informed them about the job loss and asked for restructuring. What can you do in case you got terminated for doing a side job?
Q: My husband was working in a private retail company before. While he was working with them, he helped a friend sell his friend`s own designs of t-shirts through Facebook. His previous employer saw that and terminated him and they are accusing him that he is copying their designs and stealing customers by selling his friend`s items while working which is not true. He threatened my husband that they will sue him and to avoid that, they`re gonna remove him from work and will pay him only the days of his work (15 days) which my husband agreed because he doesn`t want any trouble. That`s what they did. They didn`t pay him his gratuity for staying almost 3 yrs with them as well as airline ticket, vacation leave and public holidays. Now it`s been a year since it happened and my husband is already working with another company and suddenly his previous employer saw him in a restaurant and asked him why he is there and threatened him that they are gonna sue him still.
