How can I remove overstay fines when the company could not provide a visa?

I worked for the last five months in a company. The company did not provide a visa and promised to pay a fine from their side.

But now, they told me to pay a fine from our side, otherwise, they're not ready to provide a visa.

Our previous company contract finished on June 30. Most of the staff transferred to a new company and provided an offer letter.

Our visa was canceled on July 13. I also transferred to a new company in our remote area.
