How to work legally in UAE with an ongoing court case?
Q: Hi, My ID expired on August 13, 2023. I have a company that is willing to give me a sponsorship letter for work, but I am unable to get my visa processed with them because I have an ongoing court case in the Sharjah court. Please advise on the following: 1) How can I get a legal notice for a stay in the UAE, considering my situation of the court case? 2) How can I get a notice/letter from the court so that I can work legally in any company in the UAE? صدر حكم عمالي لصالح العامل. ماذا يحدث إذا امتنعت عن السداد؟
س: السلام عليكم، رفع عامل لدي دعوى عمالية وصدر الحكم لصالحه. استأنفت الحكم وصدر أيضًا لصالحه وهو الآن فتح ملف تنفيذ بتاريخ ٥/٩/٢٠٢٣ وتم إعلاني بالتنفيذ. مع العلم أن المبلغ المطلوب ٤٠ ألف درهم وليس لدي كل المبلغ المطلوب. ماذا أفعل؟ وماذا سيحدث إذا امتنعت عن السداد؟ مع العلم أيضًا أنني كنت أضع له راتب ٣٠ ألف درهم. هل يمكن تقسيط المبلغ؟ وما أقصى مدة لتقسيط المبلغ؟ أريد إجابة وافية رجاءً. شكرًا جزيلاً! Can the seller sue the broker if the buyer is not paying the price of the property?
Q: I am a broker. The seller is threatening me. The buyer put an offer for a property. The buyer sent a cheque copy with the name of the seller, the seller asked to change it to his name since there were joint buyers, which I have sent to the seller, we didn’t sign any MOU. I never received any personal cheque copy from the buyer to date and when I informed the seller that they were not responding back to me, the seller threatened me and harassed me with pre-suing legally against me. He is demanding 285k AED (which was 10% of the villa price) he wants the buyer / my company / me to pay that ASAP. What should I do? Can you suggest, please?

Landlord serves eviction notice but no price set. Does notice still valid?
Q: Hello, Our landlord served us an eviction notice with an "intent to sell". We asked the agent for the asking price, as we would be interested in buying the property. The agent said that the landlord will set a price a couple of months before our eviction because prices are increasing.
