Is it permitted to have two full-time jobs simultaneously?

Hi,

I want more information about labor laws in the UAE regarding having two full-time jobs simultaneously, one in Dubai and the other in the EU. Is this permitted?

Do you also offer a service to review my contract before signing?

Please note that I don't have a UAE number. If you prefer in-person contact, we can set up a call online or via WhatsApp.

Dear Questioner,

Yes, we provide the service of the contract review.

As per general rules, the employee working in one company needs an NOC from the other company, however, there are certain other conditions like the time frame of working hours and both companies' nature that shall be considered in order to avoid non-competency clauses complications in the future.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.

In the UAE, having two full-time jobs is generally permitted, but you need approval from your current employer, should not exceed legal working hours, and may require a separate work visa for the second job.

It's essential to review your employment contracts carefully, consult with us, and ensure compliance with labor laws.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Questioner,

Normally, under UAE Labor law, two labor contracts with full-time employment for an individual can't be registered.

But he can enter into contracts with the companies after receiving NOC from both companies and then can work with both companies one operating in UAE and one in EU.

We offer a service to review the contract so that we can advise you properly regarding the terms and conditions involved in it.

Share your WhatsApp number if you want to go with the services.
