New employment visa in case of a pending labour case
Q: Good day, I had a labour case for which the judgement has already been issued from the court of the first instance in my favour in Nov 2018. I have opened an execution file in mid of Feb 2019 & is currently under 15 days notification period. I have now got a new job offer & they want me to join at the earliest. 1) Can I cancel my labour card & residence visa since the judgement is already out so that the new employer can initiate the visa proceedings from the new company? 2) What documents would I need? 3) Will it affect my execution court case in any way since I have not received the EOSB till now & don`t want to lose it? 4) During cancellation, do I have to sign that I have received all my EOSB if in case my company PRO cancels it & would it affect the case? I have approached Tasheel/Amer & different people are giving different opinions & I am confused now. Can you please guide me? Thanks, K.K.

Termination during probation and non-payment of salaries
Q: Hello, My employer terminated me from the job without any notice. I was working there for the last 4 months as a Restaurant Manager. When I asked for my salary and my notice period salary they said they will give after 1 week. But when I followed up again, I found they put one complaint that some money is missing. They also threatened me that they will call the police and to forget all my money now. According to my contract, it says the employer has to pay one month notice period salary in case of termination. I made a complaint in MOHRE. One employee from the Labour called the company owner to pay me my final settlement. They said they will pay, but again after 2 weeks now, they are not paying me. Q: Hi, Good evening, Initially, I was being appointed in a Dubai-based company and they transferred me to Qatar. I worked 10 years in Qatar and again they transferred me to Dubai and I worked for 3 years. Then after that, they transferred me to owners` personal company in Dubai and I worked for 5 years. Filing a case against the developer for cancellation of project
Q: I bought a property in a project and paid the full amount to the developer directly, not in the escrow account. The property was not complete as promised and it was cancelled by the Land Dept last year. We reached the Land Dept to make a complaint then we came to know it`s not registered under my name. Please help me to process it and get my money back. I made a complaint in Dubai Courts too but no update.

Revoking a power of attorney to a shareholder in an LLC Company
Q: 3 years ago, I agreed to sign my name to a trade license as a shareholding Managing Director. I did so as a favour to our group chairman. I have lost faith/control and I am worried about what is being done with my identity. All documents/operation are with the 2nd partner and local sponsor (51%). I am not active in the business neither do I know what is happening. I realize the high risk but agreed in trust, now with great regret. I signed a POA last year after leaving the country for another project. It was limited to 6 months which has since expired. How can I remove my name?
