Termination after completing probation period, does she get a month notice?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My colleague was terminated 2 days after completing her 6-month probationary period. The company gave her a 14-day notice period. Can I evict the tenant when I buy a new property with the intention to rent it for a higher price?

Q: Hi There, Here is my current situation: I have just bought a property, and the previous landlord issued an eviction due to the intention to sell, valid until 9th Nov 2023. It was sent by Dubai Courts, and the previous tenant acknowledged it. The new tenant is refusing to leave and said that I have to serve a new 12-month notice to them. I do not want to send a new notice, as I do not plan to live in the property, I plan to rent it (they are paying 42K AED under the market and not even covering the mortgage) for a few years before moving in. My questions: a) Can I send a legal letter from a notary public, referencing the previous notice which is still valid, from Dubai courts? b) If so, can I legally evict them on the agreed date, and will RERA be in my favor? c) If they do leave, am I able to rent the property? I never stipulated an intention to move in on the notice, as it was the previous landlord`s notice which is "intention to sell".

Employer forcing me to sign addendum to contract to give up benefit: What to do?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, If the company HR is now forcing me to sign an addendum to my contract to give up a benefit in my original contract, and is threatening to fire me if I do not sign, what is the best way to protect myself? The benefit they want to remove is that "upon completion of each year of service, staff will receive two additional full months` salary, according to their performance appraisal." My performance appraisal entitles me to the full two months` salary, but the new GM is asking HR to have all staff sign the addendum to give up this benefit, or they will be fired.

Landlord wants to change maintenance terms after rent increase: What are my rights?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I have a question about the renewal of my contract for the third year. The owner has increased the rent according to the RERA index, and I have agreed to this. However, there was an additional term in the contract that stated that the landlord would be responsible for major maintenance. The landlord has now said that all maintenance will be the responsibility of the tenant, and he has stopped communicating with me. Is it allowed to change the terms and conditions of the contract when renewing it with a higher rent price?

Can the bank harass me with the HR at my work to claim a debt?

Q: The bank said that they would file an execution case since I couldn`t meet their demands. And as part of the process, they will visit my company and involve HR. Plus, I keep receiving excessive phone calls not only on my mobile but also on the company phones and landlines. Even the receptionist from the other branch received rude treatment even if I was constantly in contact with them. My questions are: 1. What is the process of execution case? 2. Is HR involved in this? Do they have the right to visit the company? 3. What can I do so they stop harassing me and my colleagues? Please, can someone help me with this? Thank you so much in advance.

A landlord sent an eviction notice without mentioning the reason. Is it valid?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My landlord has just given me a 12-month notice to vacate the villa. I know that this is because rents have increased significantly, and he wants to rent it out at a higher rent. As I understand it, landlords can only ask tenants to vacate if they want to sell the property or live in it themselves. The legal notice through the Dubai Courts notary did not state these as reasons for the notice; it simply stated that I must vacate within 12 months. What are my options in this case?
