Can I sue a consultant for delaying a Poland work permit application?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I applied for a Poland work permit through a consultant, but it has been almost 13 months and the application is still in progress.

Is there any legal way to take action against the consultant?

Dear Questioner,

You can serve them a legal notice, or request a refund if the contract signed does not have a no-refund clause.

Dear Questioner,

You have the right to sue him if the delay was due to his negligence, not to a lack of response from the Polish authorities.

Dear Questioner,

I hope this message finds you well.

Thank you for reaching out to me regarding your situation with the Poland work permit application.

I understand the frustration and concern you must be experiencing due to the prolonged delay.

In such cases, it's essential to approach the situation judiciously. To provide you with the most accurate advice, I would need some additional details.

However, in general, there are legal avenues available to address delays in immigration processes.

I recommend the following initial steps:

- Document the Timeline: Compile a detailed timeline of your application process, including all communication with the consultant, dates of submissions, and any responses received.

- Review the Contract: Examine the agreement you entered into with the consultant. Look for clauses related to processing times and any obligations on their part.

- Communicate with the Consultant: Initiate communication with the consultant to express your concerns and seek an update on the status of your application. Maintain records of all correspondence.

- Legal Consultation: If the consultant's response is unsatisfactory or if the delay persists, consider seeking legal advice to explore your options. I am available to discuss your case further and provide tailored guidance.

Please feel free to reach out to me via WhatsApp or phone to schedule a consultation.

I am here to assist you and explore the best course of action to address your situation.

If you have a contract from the agency, we can move with the breach of contract and claim for damages.

Also, you can try to complain to consumer protection under the Ministry of Economy.
