Visa renewal during the pendency of criminal and civil cases
Q: Can someone renew his residency visa if a civil case is filed against him? I had a criminal case last year (June 2018) due to bounced cheque (credit card issue). I have not paid the fine yet of AED 10,000. My visa renewal is due on May 2019. I don`t know if the bank has filed a civil case already.

Pending labour dues and the legal way to claim them

I`ve finished my contract and my Emirates visa will expire this 5th of November, but my employer refuses to settle all my benefits and he`s owing us about three months salary. His reasons are that he`s waiting for clients to pay him money to clear me. Liability of son for a guarantee cheque issued for father's debts
Q: My father was under a medical condition and was treated for cancer last year. He had borrowed his company`s money and could not return back. As he was having cancer and we were going to India back, they asked him to repay the money. But instead, as I am his son, he informed me to give my cheque as surety as he had no cheques. Due to my father`s condition, I gave my bank cheque for the amount to be repaid. In some months we have only paid 40% but 60% is pending which his company has held my cheque and might put anytime to the bank. We are buying time but can`t to pay back as It is a big amount. Q: Hi, We just moved into the apartment (just over a month) and now the landlord says that he had put up the property for sale and rent since 8 months ago, which we were not notified of by both the agent and the landlord. Cheque civil case pursuant to criminal case judgement
Q: Hello Hope you are well. I had a case with 2 company cheques of AED 400k combined. I was sentenced for a year, which I did an appeal and was fined with 35K AED as a fine. I paid and I left the country. Now, I have been served with a civil case and requested to attend the court on Monday. I can not be there now as I am outside the country but someone with a power of attorney will attend and request to postpone until I come. The consequences of missing loan installments due to salary delays
Q: Dear Sir, I have credit cards and loan from 2 banks, almost AED 85k. Suddenly, my company is not able to pay the salaries & the last few months we are getting the salary after 50 days.
