Travel ban and arrest warrant check after closing a loan

Hello,

Can someone tell me what a travel ban is connected to? Is it your passport number?

I understand I have an open case in Dubai for a loan (that's actually paid now) and I'm now outside the UAE, so have no Emirates ID card or number.

If I attempted to get back in the country whilst that case is still open, would I be pulled up on my passport number?

What if the passport number they have on record is expired and you have a new number, can that case still be connected to you?

If I knew it was safe I would be happy to return and go to the police station myself to close it. I have the details from the bank.

Dear Questioner,

The travel ban is connected to the person's identity. So, the passport number, Emirates ID and any old or new passport will be connected to the ban.

If you have an active criminal case against you and your name is on the waiting list, you will be detained on arrival because once your name hits the immigration system, your used passport will pull out any previous Visa, Emirates ID Number and any previous expired passport number, even if you hold more than one nationality and more than a passport, you will be identified by the system as the same person.

Your safe alternative is to hire a legal consultant to represent you to close the cases against you before you arrive and get detained at the airport.

Best regards,

Ah, I see. Thanks, Ahmed.

So to be clear, you are saying that the authorities will have a way of connecting to the UK passport authority and somehow link the new passport number to the one they have on file?

Also, may I ask what happens if you are detained?

As I believe the debt is no longer a criminal offence, are you denied a visa and deported?

I agree, next month I will pay for the service to identify the cases so I can start working on closing them.

Dear Questioner,

I completely agree with my learned colleague Mr Ahmed Elnaggar. You may check your status in the immigration and also in the police.

If there is any criminal complaint against you this will be revealed and you may take appropriate action according to the report.

If you need any further assistance feel free to contact me.

Thank you.
