How can I file a counter-complaint for a false public cursing accusation?

0
Q: Hello,
How can I file a counter-complaint against a person who made a false report about me for public cursing, which I never did?
He made the complaint about three months after we last met. I now have a case because of it, but I never said any bad words to him.
I was stopped at the airport because of that.

Falsely accusing employees of theft after filing labor cases against him
6
Q: Good day, I was hoping to get legal advice regarding my situation.
Three of us in the company filed a labor complaint against the employer due to delayed and incomplete salary since May of 2020. The labor called our employer and agrees to settle our due within 10 days, however after that conversation, our boss sent us messages falsely accusing us of theft.
He said that he has evidence but we are sure that this is just a threat as we didn't do anything wrong. On the day of settlement, as he promised, he never gave us anything, instead, he harassed us to sign the cancellation without getting our balance and threatened us that we will go to jail if we refuse.
We know that this is what will happen because he did the same thing to other ex-employees who complained and those who ended contracts with him not getting anything because of that wrongful accusation.
What should we do next? Shall we inform the labor regarding this or just file a case for defamation regarding his false allegation?

I received a notice from Dubai Court’s Amicable Settlement. Can I negotiate the payment terms? 0
Hello,
I received a notice from the Amicable Settlement Department at Dubai Court regarding a financial amount I need to pay to an individual who lent me the amount.
I’m willing to pay it back; however, I am negotiating the payment terms. I have two questions:
1. What is the procedure of the Amicable Settlement Department, as I only received a notification without any other information?
2. Will I be able to negotiate a settlement, and how?
Please advise.
Thank you!

The agent promised me cashback, but he’s left the company and they won’t pay. What can I do? 0
Hello,
An agent from a company in the housing space promised me a percentage cashback from the brokerage if I booked the house through him.
He sent this understanding via both his company and personal email. After regular follow-ups, he paid a certain percentage but claims the company is not willing to release the remaining amount.
The agent has since left the organization and started his own business, and I am left hanging to deal with the company on my own. I have never visited or had any contact within the company.
Please help or guide me in the right direction, as the amount is my hard-earned lifetime savings and is considerably large.

My husband has a mental disorder and cannot support us. What are our options? 0
Hello,
If my husband has a mental disorder and cannot provide financially for me and my son, what can we do in this situation?
Although his family is financially capable of helping, they are not supporting him. He cannot afford housing either. They are not contributing to his medical care or any of his expenses.
I can manage my own and my son's expenses, but it's difficult to cover my husband's as well. Is there any law that can make his family responsible for paying his expenses and medical care?

Can I get my overstay fines waived after a case was recently closed? 0
Hi,
I would like to seek legal assistance. I am currently overstaying due to a complaint registered against me last year, which was not closed even after it was settled.
Only today, I received a letter from Dubai Prosecution about the lifting of my travel ban and the closure of the case. Is there any way I can file to claim a waiver for my fines or at least a fine reduction?
I only came to know about this case/complaint when I was trying to renew my visa last April, and due to this, I was not able to renew it on time.
Please assist.
Thank you!

I had pending bank loans and credit card dues. If I apply for a visit visa from outside, will it get approved? 0
I had pending bank loans and credit card dues, and I am outside the UAE.
Surely there will be a police case and also a travel ban.
Under these circumstances, if I apply for a visit visa from outside, will it get approved?

Can I evict a tenant and refuse renewal if rent has not been paid in full? 0
Hello,
I am a landlord. The tenant failed to pay the rent in one full payment as per the contract.
So far, 3 months remain until the expiry date of the contract, and the payment is still pending.
Do I have the right to evict the tenant from the apartment and refuse to renew the tenancy contract?
