The amount is not much and this same credit card security cheque which was signed on the time of the signing of credit card application. I paid a lot of interest on this credit card.

But my main question was that the cheque was signed in Dubai, how do they can present it in Sharjah and what will be the difference if it is presented in Sharjah?

Can I be bailed out by the guarantee of passport and can I resolve the issue with the court by paying a fine?

Yes, they can present this cheque in all seven states of the UAE.

They may want to do it in Sharjah because of fines and fast track courts are just for Dubai.

Detention may be sentenced as well which is not the case in Dubai if the loan is under AED 300,000/-.

Once the case is filed, you have to appear in front of the judge and his honour will decide what should be the penalty.

One point is missing to answer. If the case is filed in Sharjah and I put the passport as a guarantee and can appear in court on the date, will I still be arrested?
