The consequences of defaulting on credit card payments

Dear Ma'am,

I have a credit card from a finance company and last 10 months I didn't pay.

Now, the balance showing above 110,000 and they are sending messages that they will submit my security cheque.

If they submit the cheque, what are the procedures and how much I need to pay?

Dear Questioner,

You have not mentioned the cheque amount. I am not sure whether you have given them a blank cheque while applying for the credit card and has given liberty to put any number in the cheque.

In Dubai, below 200k cheque amount, a fine only will be issued and there is no jail term. The fine amount ranges from 5000-10000.

Hope the above gives a clear answer to your query.

Thank you.

Dear Mam,

I do believe that I submit a blank cheque, if they put the amount above 200k, what will happen?
