Q: I left the UAE in September 2014 but I think there is a potential that I may have an outstanding arrest warrant.
I have only copies of expired passport, visa and Emirates ID from that time but nothing new as I am not in the country, therefore never renewed the Emirates ID or visa.
What documents do you need to check if a warrant exists?
How long do these warrants last for? Would a 2014 warrant still be valid in 2018 or next year?
Q: Hi,
My fiance was arrested due to drug possession.
The prosecutor in Dubai dropped the charges and ordered deportation after 30 days being in jail, so he doesn't have an order for deportation from the court as he didn't go to the court.
What are the chances for him to get back to the UAE as he has a good job offer and what is the procedure to do that?
Thank you
Q: Hi
I had credit card debt in Dubai in 2004. Now I need to travel to Dubai on a work basis. Can you check if I have a travel ban?
I do not have my residence visa copy, however, I have my old passport details. I do not have my Emirates ID copy also.
Will you be able to find out with the passport copy?
Q: How can I know who's individual or bank put a civil case against me to keep me on a travel ban?
And also what is the best thing to do to temporarily/permanently lift my travel ban?
Thank you for your kind reply.
Q: I have brought 0.5 grams of Marijuana to Dubai last year as a tourist. I was travel banned. I could stay for 20 days holiday. When I was leaving, they put me into the database, and never ever again I can enter the UAE.
Now I want to visit Qatar. My question is, am I travel banned to all GCC countries? Like Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, etc, or only UAE?
Thank you!
Dear Sir,
My company made my position redundant due to the Coronavirus effect. I am under a limited contract.
With the end of service, they gave me one month notice period. Is it right or it should be 3 months?
Please clarify
