Labour rights for terminating a limited contract by the employer
Dear Sir,
My company made my position redundant due to the Coronavirus effect. I am under a limited contract.
With the end of service, they gave me one month notice period. Is it right or it should be 3 months?
Please clarify

As the company is terminating you for a reason not related to your performance, then the company needs to provide the employee with 3 months salary as compensation.

Dear Questioner,
Based on your facts above, if your employer terminates your limited employment contract before its expiry without cause, and they fail to follow the new guidelines of Ministerial Resolution No. 279, you will be entitled to arbitrary dismissal and three months' payment.
Please approach MOHRE and file a complaint against your employer.
