Checking travel ban without the original passport or UAE visa
Sir,
I no longer live in the UAE and I have lived in Abu Dhabi for many years. I would like to check for an arrest warrant or travel ban.
I do not have the original passport or the original UAE visa. However, I do have my new passport.
Can you use my passport to gain access to any criminal warrants or travel bans that are 15 years old?

Dear Questioner,
We are happy to assist you with a travel ban and arrest warrant check against your name.
In regards to you not having your previous passport or UAE visa, it is standard protocol for the Police Departments to conduct the travel ban check using your original passport and UAE Visa U.I.D. Number to check for any criminal records issued against the individual's name.
We can go to the Department of Immigration before conducting the travel ban and arrest warrant check for you, in an attempt to obtain your previous UAE Visa U.I.D. Number, but it is not guaranteed that they will give us this information or if they will be able to locate this on their systems.
Regardless, we can conduct a travel ban and arrest warrant check using your new passport. However, this travel ban and arrest warrant check may only be applicable to your current passport and we cannot guarantee that you do not have any pending cases issued under your previous passport and UAE Visa U.I.D. Number.
Please let me know if you would like to proceed with our travel ban and arrest warrant checking services, you can contact me directly if you have any further questions at bw@elnaggarlegal.com.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
