Inspection of criminal record and arrest warrant
I left the UAE in September 2014 but I think there is a potential that I may have an outstanding arrest warrant.
I have only copies of expired passport, visa and Emirates ID from that time but nothing new as I am not in the country, therefore never renewed the Emirates ID or visa.
What documents do you need to check if a warrant exists?
How long do these warrants last for? Would a 2014 warrant still be valid in 2018 or next year?

Dear Sir/ Madam,
Thank you for getting in touch with me on this.
Please note that I can assist you with doing such an inspection of record to understand if there is a police case against your name or not.
I will need your Passport Copy, Visa Copy and Emirates ID to undertake such inspection.
Regarding the period for which the warrant will last, the records last for time immemorial. There is no expiry period for such warrant and if there is a case then you will be arrested/detained when you enter the UAE.
Please email me the documents on hari.wadhwana@gmail.com for inspection of records.

If you want to check any arrest warrant pending against you, it can be done by using your expired passport copy and visa page only.
Checking the renewal is not needed. If there was a warrant from 2014, it will still be continuing.
