Q: Hi,
Will I get a labor ban for resigning during my probation period?
I am under an unlimited contract for a private company in Abu Dhabi. Status amended on 10/01/2021. I passed a resignation on 08/06/2021.
This is my 1st contract with them as my 2nd job in the UAE. My 1st job was in Dubai and I completed 1+ years with them.

The required documents after filing a labor case against an employer
4
Q: Hi,
I have filed a labor case against my employer for not giving my final settlement. A month before my resignation, I agreed to pay for my training an equivalent to 10k.
I have not signed any paper about this agreement. My salary is delayed for 4 months. My only evidence is the bank transaction because they only send my salary by bank transfer.
My salary is 5k a month. When I filed my case in Al Adheed, they said I can get 30k for my 4 months delayed, gratuity, and leave pay. My first hearing is next week. I worked in the company for 1 year and 8 months.
1. Will I need to hire a lawyer for the coming hearing or Adheed will provide me with one?
2. What other things I need to prepare for the first hearing?
3. Can I ask for 3 months' compensation (15k) more since I was not able to start any job as they delayed the cancelation of my visa?
Thank you and I would appreciate your response!

Will I have to pay training costs if I resign from my job in the UAE?

31
Q: Hello,
I am planning to resign from my job because I can no longer take the pressure I am getting every day. I am only 4 months into the company. It is a limited contract.
This is what bothers me: in the contract I signed, it says that I have to pay the training cost of 5000 AED if I resign before 1 year.
- Will I pay that amount if I resign during probation or even after 6 months?
- If I resign after 6 months, will I still have to pay the full amount or half?
Can someone help me with my questions, please?

Can I leave my job during probation period without paying training charges?

5
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
What if I resign from the company during my probation period?
My contract, Article 4, mentions that I have to pay 6,000 AED in training charges if I leave within one year of the contract.
My offer letter states that training charges will be compensated, if incurred.
Will I be able to leave the company, or can they file a case against me?

Employer demands AED 5,000 training fee upon resignation - is it legal?

3
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I work in the private sector with a fixed-term annual employment contract (internal and part-time contract).
I submitted my resignation one month before the end of the contract and mentioned in the resignation letter that I would pay the notice period allowance.
The employer told me that I had to pay an amount of AED 5,000 for the training cost, and I signed. I think this is in the contract, but in reality, I did not receive any training from a third party.
The previous person in my place only taught me the work. So, does the employer have the right to do that? If I do not pay the amount, what can the employer do?
Thank you!

How can I cancel my visa to join a new employer if my ex-employer filed a case for training charges?

1
Q: Hi,
I have filed a complaint (MOHRE) against my company for my pending salary.
To blackmail me my company has also filed a complaint against me claiming I have to pay them training fees (10,000 AED) which are mentioned in the contract. However, I have not received any training from the company.
The issue is I want my visa cancelation as soon as possible because my new employer is waiting for me for so long now. I want guidance on this matter. My employer is deliberately delaying this matter and using the visa cancelation as a tool against me.
My question to respected lawyers is that,
1. What should I do to get my visa cancelation as soon as possible?
2. Can Visa/labor card cancelation be done on my own?
3. If I win my salary claim case. Can I get a labor card/visa cancelation somehow while a complaint is open from my company against me?
Thank you so much for the guidance

My company complained against me in Mohre after my resignation claiming training fees from me

0
Q: My company complained against me in MOHRE after my resignation claiming training fees from me.
The claim was rejected by the MOHRE and they have now filed in Abu Dhabi FIC court against MOHRE's decision. I received a message that the case hearing is on 9th December.
My question is:
1. Do I need to submit anything before the hearing like a statement or anything else? I don't know Arabic, so can I speak English in front of the judge?
2. I want to get a temporary work permit so that I can work in another company during this case. Can the Abu Dhabi court judge issue me the temporary work permit during the hearing or there is a separate procedure to get that?

Can I request reopening a civil case if the judgment was in my absence due to sending notices to the wrong address? 0
Lawyers misunderstood my question. Please read carefully and then guide me.
Case Type: Civil Case
Claim amount: 400,000
Paid: 65,000
Reason: Commercial agreement of supply
Emirate: Ajman
This case was registered in 2022. The judgment was in my absence, as notices were sent to the wrong address.
I was sent to jail. I made a down payment, bailed, and paid some more amount as installments. The total paid amount is AED 65000.
Now, again, an arrest warrant is issued as I did not pay the remaining 335,000 of the claim.
According to me, I had to pay only this amount because the executioner made a wrong claim, not as per the genuine claim.
So I want to reopen the case file.
I want the court to reinvestigate and start the case from scratch.
1) How can I make that request?
2) What documents are required?
3) Chances of reopening of case?
4) Cancellation of arrest warrant
Please guide me in detail, as I will do everything myself, as I cannot afford a lawyer right now.

I booked a hotel stay for Eid through a travel agency and it was canceled two days before Eid. What to do? 0
I booked a hotel stay for Eid through a travel agency two weeks before Eid. The travel agency confirmed the booking on payment.
One day before Eid, the agency reached out, saying they had an issue with the supplier/hotel and the booking would be cancelled.
They offered alternative hotels that didn’t match the original property. I suggested some properties, and they couldn’t arrange them, or they asked for further payment, so I didn’t book anything through them.
What are my rights to a refund and compensation, as I had to book other arrangements separately at a significantly higher cost due to the last-minute prices?
It also caused significant emotional distress, less than 24 hours before the holiday. To which authority can a complaint be made in case of an unsatisfactory outcome?
Both the agency and the hotel are in Dubai.

Hello,
Can an employer post an employee's photo on social media, LinkedIn or Instagram, without the employee's consent?
Secondly, the employer is forcing the employee to update the company details in the employee's profile.
I believe LinkedIn and Instagram are personal profiles and one cannot be forced to update the details. This photo was taken in the office.
