Q: Good Morning,
A fraudulent company committed to providing results from the AIP program in Canada. I paid approximately AED 80,000 in November 2023, and they gave me a post-dated cheque to ensure my amount.
They failed to deliver the results as promised; the owner himself decided to roll back the program and proceed with a refund, but he eventually did not fulfill his commitments, even after agreeing to installments.
We have been chasing him since March 2024, but he is not responding. He has nothing to say, and currently, he is not in the UAE. In this case, how can I recover my hard-earned money, which is for our children? How can I file a case?
Currently, I am living in Saudi Arabia. I know there is some platform where I can raise an online complaint, but I’m not sure how long it could take to finalize the case. What are the chances of winning?
Many people have been trapped in this fraud; I am not the only one. The owner committed this fraud through his sales employee with over 100 victims.

I lost money and opportunities due to a failed immigration process. What can I do?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I applied for Canada immigration in August 2020 and paid 4,000 AED for the process, with a guaranteed 100% refund if they couldn't get me immigration.
To date, nothing has happened. When I asked for a refund, they said they could only give me 1,500 AED.
I lost money, time, and opportunities in other areas due to this immigration process.
Can I get my money back as promised in the contract, along with compensation for their lies?

My brother's brother-in-law was arrested at Fujairah Airport, as he was carrying 25 bottles (each of 10 Grams) of new shama kamini vidrawan ras.
This is an ayurvedic formulation that promotes sexual wellness. The ingredients help to enhance libido in men.
As he (brother's brother-in-law) informed police that my brother asked him to carry this ayurvedic medicine, as he (my brother) wanted to gift it to his few friends, as this is cheaper in India.
As of now, both my brother and his brother-in-law are arrested by police stating that this medicine contains drugs and is kept in Fujairah Central Jail.
It's been more than 15 days since my brother's brother-in-law (arrested on 26th June), and more than one week since my brother's arrest (6th July).
Now, I don't have any idea or information about what will happen and what the current status is.

I recently reverted to Islam, and my marriage was solemnized in a civil court in the Philippines. There is no divorce law in the Philippines, and even if there were, it would take a significant amount of time and money.

I submitted two UAE employment visa applications through ADGM, both prepared professionally and fully documented (personal letters, family background, police clearance, translations). Both were rejected without explanation.

I'm a chef living in Dubai, UAE. I got a visa and work permit from another company, but I started working as a private chef for a UHNW individual at his home.
I have worked there for 2 months and 21 days, and I got paid for that, but after that time, they fired me without any notice or reason.
What does the labor law say?
Am I entitled to 3 months' pay or not?

The agent promised me cashback, but he’s left the company and they won’t pay. What can I do?

An agent from a company in the housing space promised me a percentage cashback from the brokerage if I booked the house through him.
He sent this understanding via both his company and personal email. After regular follow-ups, he paid a certain percentage but claims the company is not willing to release the remaining amount.
The agent has since left the organization and started his own business, and I am left hanging to deal with the company on my own. I have never visited or had any contact within the company.
Please help or guide me in the right direction, as the amount is my hard-earned lifetime savings and is considerably large.

I lost the appeal filed by my landlord. What can I do if he illegally keeps my last cheque and deposit?
I got RDSC judgment in my favor awarding termination of my lease from May 2024 to May 2025. The landlord made an appeal and lied about my request for termination on 4 December.
My lawyer didn't give any response so the landlord won the appeal. Recently, the Landlord asked for the keys back and said I have overstayed since 4 Dec for not returning the key.
He said he could cash my last rent cheque and wouldn't return the deposit. I gave him my friend's address and said to pick up the key from there but to return my deposit and last rent cheque but he does not agree.
He wants to keep the deposit.
