For a fixed price, the lawyer you hire will look into your situation, examine the facts relating to it, communicate on your behalf with the creditor (may require additional arrangement with the lawyer), advise you on possible legal implications, and will help you find the best course of action to sort out the issue.

This service is right for you if you already have or would like to avoid a debt collection conflict with your UAE bank or finance company and need expert advice and assistance in the consolidation or settlement of your debts.

What’s included

• Introduction call. After receiving from you all the documents and brief regarding the matter, the lawyer will call you to discuss your situation and the next steps needed.
• Overall assessment of the situation. Based on your situation and the lawyer's experience in handling similar matters, your attorney will look into possible ways of resolving the issue. If needed, and subject to additional arrangement, your lawyer may communicate on your behalf with your creditor to figure out probable outcomes.
• Legal advice session (30 minutes). Answers and advice. Based on the results of assessment, the lawyer will suggest to you possible options and their opinion on how to sort out the issue. The advice session can be held in the form of a telephone call, personal or online meeting.
• Privacy. The information and documents you share with your lawyer are protected by attorney-client privilege.

What’s not included

• Drafting legal documents or any additional advice or work by the attorney beyond the scope mentioned above.
• Long distance telephone calls and faxes, couriers and postage, collections and deliveries. If you are based outside the UAE then probably you will need to call the lawyer yourself, or agree on some other way of voice communication.
• Communication with the creditor. If required, you need to purchase additional services separately.
• Guarantee of a favourable resolution of the debt collection conflict with your bank or finance company. Outcomes of the debt consolidation or settlement process depend on your situation and cannot be guaranteed.

For most people, this service will provide the answers and guidance they need regarding possible ways of the consolidation or settlement of their debts with UAE banks or finance companies. However, if your case requires additional work – for example, you would like your lawyer to attend meetings with your creditor, or need representation in the court or assistance in lifting a travel ban – you are welcome to talk to your lawyer about hiring them for extra work.
