Credit card case and possibility of a travel ban

Q: Dear Sir, I am a Dubai resident. I didn`t pay my credit cards outstanding amount from last December 2018 onwards. Actually one of my friends took from my card these amounts and he told me he will return back, but he cheated me. Now he told me he will sell his land in India and give me back. But I want to know what are the legal problems which will come to me because I have to go to my home country (India) in August 2019 for my brother`s marriage. Everyday the bank people are calling and threatening me. I want to know if I will go to prison and all because my family is staying with me in the UAE. And please tell me if the court calls me, how much fine do I have to pay? I will mention my outstanding amounts below: Bank 1-45000, Bank 2 -24000, Bank 3 -10000. Will there be any travel ban?

Compensation for an injury accident in a mall

Q: Greetings, I have a query that I hope you are able to answer. I had a fall/accident in one of the major malls in Dubai due to their gross negligence and injured my ankle. This happened 10 weeks ago, and I am still being treated for the injury. I am considering purchasing a Fixed Fee service from you - Drafting and Serving a legal notice to the mall management in regards to compensation. I would like to know what would your professional fees be if I required your expertise to negotiate a settlement beyond this fixed fee service? Looking forward to your response. Thank you.

Q: Dear Sir, I need to exchange my wife`s passport with mine at the police station. I had been arrested for house rent bounced cheque in Sharjah. By then, my passport had been taken for visa stamping thus her passport was kept in custody for my release. I still have a balance to pay and her visa is due for renewal. I being her sponsor, would kindly need to get her passport for visa renewal and replace it with mine as I still sought to clear the balance. Please advise how can I go about this. Thank you. Yours faithfully M.

Obligation to pay the visa costs in case of early resignation

Q: Hello Sir, I have received an offer letter from a non-profit organisation in Abu Dhabi, UAE working with the UAE government for environment conservation. They are offering a 12 months limited contract and I will need to reimburse them for visa, medical and medical insurance costs if I resign before the contract expiry, even if I serve a one-month notice. My questions are: 1. Being a government entity, are they legally permitted to demand/deduct visa, medical and insurance costs from an employee? I know the labour law prohibits it. 2. I am expecting another job offer in 2-3 days time but this organisation wants me to respond to the offer ASAP. If I accept this offer now (dont submit any ID/ passport documents), can I inform them afterwards that I am not going forward with this offer? Are there any legal implications?

Civil case for defaulting on a bank loan after closing criminal case

Q: Good day to you!! I would like to ask for advice as I was detained due to a bounced cheque case filed by the bank. I have cleared my case and paid the fine in the Prosecutor Office. As per the police, don`t answer any call from the bank, however, the bank keeps sending emails saying that they will file a police case against me for not paying the loan and the credit card. Would like to know good advice regarding my situation as I am trying to avoid to be detained again.
