Liability to pay the debts for a friend's loan
Q: I introduce my friend to my co-worker, my friend managed a restaurant before and she took a personal loan to my co-worker. She signed a paper that she has a loan and will pay it on a monthly basis. unfortunately, she got trouble in paying back. Now, this co-worker was running to me asking to pay my friend loan. Am I liable to pay that? I did not sign any paper that I am a guarantor.

Wrongfully accused and fined for subleasing a residential property
Q: My husband and I are living in Wasl properties. One day when the inspection was carried out, our cousin was there at home. The Wasl guy took his ID and fined us AED 8000.00 for subleasing. Actually, the cousin is staying in a nearby bachelor accommodation but when we told them that, they asked us to prove the relationship in a week`s time. Please advise, how to get rid of the fine as we are not subleasing?
