Obtaining a UAE police clearance certificate for immigration
Q: Hi Nikhat, I am applying for a New Zealand residency and need a Dubai Police Clearance Certificate for my stay in Dubai from 2006 to 2009. I had applied for a credit card in the year 2009 and had never used it, but I assume due to some annual fees there was some outstanding amount. How do I get this sorted to get a PCC? Also, I do not have an Emirates ID and have taken a fingerprint card from New Zealand attested by the UAE embassy. Please guide me or give me the contact details of anyone who can help me.

Eviction of the tenant for failing to pay the rent
Q: I have rented an apartment to a Saudi national in Dubai with 4 cheques. My tenant`s third cheque has bounced which was due on 20th November, and after repeated phone calls/messages and emails, he is unable to pay. He always asks for a few more days and then disappears. Currently, he is residing in Saudi and claims he cannot travel because of sickness. At the moment, his brother is using the apartment occasionally (it`s a luxury furnished apartment attached to a hotel). Please advise what is the course of action and how long it will take?

Consequences of failing to return to work after an emergency leave
Q: I was working in one company which is in Hamriyah Free Zone. My visa is stamped on 10 June 2018. I went on emergency leave on 12 Oct, and since then I have not returned to work. I have sent a resignation email on 22 Nov through email and requested to proceed for visa cancellation. But nobody has responded back to me. I am still out of the UAE. Can you please advise me?

Cancellation of sponsor and dependent visa when there is a case
Q: Hi. My wife has a travel ban due to the non-payment of a loan. She is sponsored by me and her visa is valid until the end of January 2019. My visa is expiring in December 2018 and I need to cancel my visa so that I can cancel my trade license, but in order to do that, I need to cancel my wife`s visa. Legal action for commercial refund from the seller
Q: Hello, Sir/Madam Can you advise some lawyer who can help us? We need lawyer support, we have a problem with a Dubai-UAE company. We paid this company on 05 December 2016 for 1 container of cigarettes and they promised us to deliver to the UAE within 25 days. Until now, they are delaying this delivery and saying that the container has already arrived, but it is with Dubai custom and we heard those stories until now. They refunded most of the amount, but still missing near 18000$ and their last payment was in May 2018. Now they play games and always lie and answer with stories like he answered all those 2 years. حقوق الموظف في حال الاستقالة
