Who is liable to pay overstay fines if the company delays issuing the employment visa?

Q: Hi. I know someone who is facing a problem with his visa and the company. Is it possible to file a complaint against a company that promised a hired employee that they will process his visa and they will take care of everything before the expiry of his visit visa? Unfortunately, they did do what they have promised and refused to pay the fines and penalties. Also delays everything. The hired employee decided not to continue with the company, borrowed money from friends, and paid the penalties. He also asked an agency to process a new visit visa. However, it won`t proceed because of a previous application filed by the company. The hired employee then asked the company to cancel the application so the agency can process the new visit visa. But until now, they did not cancel, meaning today and tomorrow will be another penalty to pay. Another burden for the person. Is it possible to file a complaint against the company? And can he ask for payment for the 2 weeks he worked with them?

Q: An employee, after receiving his dues from the labor court, is again making false allegations that he didn`t sign a contract for salary reduction and has now approached the police and filed a criminal case against the Employer. During the labor court investigation, the documents were sent to a crime lab for checking forgery, but the employee didn`t go to the investigation officer and he was fined by the labor court for malicious allegations. The labor case is closed and the employee labor card is canceled by the labor ministry. He now went and made a false complaint at the police station on the same topic that he didn`t sign contract papers. Please advise, as an honest employer, How can I protect myself from these false allegations by the staff?

How to deal with a credit card case after transferring it from the UAE to the UK?

Q: Hi, I am a UK resident. I was previously living in Dubai until 2017. I was deported from Dubai in 2017 on a nonfinancial related case. When I was deported, there was an outstanding credit card balance on my Emirates Bank which I couldn`t pay off and now a UK-based company has filed a case in CCMCC UK courts to recover the amount. So my questions are: 1. Does the company in the UK require a Dubai court to peruse this case in the UK? 2. How can the UK courts accept a financial settlement case (credit card) without formally confirming if the case is filed in Dubai or the UAE? 3. Can the bank still peruse a case against me if I was deported by the UAE courts as I did not abscond or flee the UAE?

What to do if you couldn't get finance loan for the property you want to puchase?

Q: Hi, My form F on a property purchase stipulates that "if the buyer is unable to obtain a finance loan within 10 days of the contract, deposit cheque must be returned." In this instance, the seller delayed initial valuation viewings (so now past 10 days) and now valuation has come in less than the asking price, effecting my ability to borrow the necessary amount. Are there any local/federal laws in the Emirate of Dubai that also provide any overriding defence? Thanks
