Upgrading designation and salary upon changing job duties

Q: I am an employee in a company in Dubai since the last two years, with an unlimited contract and my total salary is AED 3000 (Joining date: 01/01/2016). In the first year, I was doing an operational activity in a logistics company like documentation of all import/ export Inquiries (Designation in visa: Client Service Clerk). In addition, I was helping the accountant as an assistant because the management decided that I shall help him in accounts. I am an employee with a postgraduate degree (M.Com Degree). On the 4th January 2017, our accountant (Designation: Accounts Manager) left the company due to personal reasons. His salary was while joining AED 5000, and when he left the company after two years and a half that time was AED 6200. The management asked me to take the position of an accountant and I accepted it. I was thinking that I will get AED 5000 salary of an accountant from the next month, but till this date, after 10 months, I am getting AED 3000. I asked several times to change my designation and upgrade my salary, but they are giving the same answer that the company is at a loss.

I stand as a guarantor for my friend. Am I liable for his bank loan?

Q: I kindly require legal advice. I have a close family member who has multiple loans in the amount of BD 19,000. He was unemployed and the banks threatened him with legal action. He came to me and confirmed he is set to start at a new job and will be able to pay for his loans, BUT needed me to sign as his guarantor so the banks would refinance his loans. Due to the close relation, I agreed. I later learned he never paid a single instalment and also resigned from his job. Now the banks have taken legal action against me. It seems he is unwilling to cooperate with the banks. How can I get out of this mess? A response is highly appreciated.

Labor case judgement execution

Q: A labour case was ruled in my favour and I received the judgement at the end of 2016. The judgement progressed to execution and not One Dirham has been paid by my ex-employer to date. We have spent the last year searching assets in all banks, combined with real estate, RTA etc. and all have come back with no assets. An attachment was made on the office assets, shortly after the Rental Dispute Committee issued a Judgement awarding the office assets to the Landlord. Finally, we located a valid Bank Guarantee held with a Government Authority. But the entity is not cooperating. As per Federal Law No. 8 for 1980 On Regulation of Labour Relations, Article 4 gives priority over all assets. However, in this scenario, Federal Labour Law, Dubai Real Estate Laws and further laws are all overlapping and conflicting. My query is, is there a document or law that states which law has priority over another to help resolve the issues I am facing with the judgement execution?
