Employer's liability in case of revoking an offer letter

An offer letter was received from Abu Dhabi.

Last January, the security approval request was submitted by the company to the local government authorities to proceed with the employment visa application on my behalf.

Since then, there has been no feedback. Lately, the employer said they're not sure they can secure a visa for me.

What are my options? I assume the offer letter is legally binding, right?

I should note that it was extended to me to sign without prior signature and seal of the company. What's my standing?

Dear Questioner,

Can you please tell me what is your nationality and if your employer is an LLC Company or a Freezone Company?

As a general rule, the employer may terminate your contract anytime without any notice in the probation period.

Please send me the requested details and a copy of the offer letter, so I can you advise accordingly.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Raluca Gatina.

My nationality is Algerian, currently based in Morocco. The legal status of the company is FZ LLC as the offer letter states. It is based on an Abu Dhabi free zone.

To further clarify, I'm not at the probation period yet as I haven't done any work for the company nor have I joined the workplace yet.

According to my employer, they are currently waiting for the necessary approvals from the authorities before the company can proceed with my employment visa application.

The company is saying that it is currently hard for an Algerian passport holder to get an employment visa approval from Abu Dhabi authorities, so the process is taking long.

At this point, my question mainly is if it's complicated for the company to get me a work visa from Abu Dhabi, can I ask them to submit from Dubai instead knowing that they have a branch in Dubai?

It is widely known that individuals of my nationality are granted work visas much more easily from Dubai.
