0
Q: Hi,
My employment visa was rejected without any reason stated. I contacted MOHRE, and they said it was rejected by ICP Abu Dhabi. I have never been to the UAE or any other country.
This is my first visa application. I am from Pakistan, and I heard there is a shadow ban on some cities in Pakistan.
I contacted ICP, but they said there is no ban on any nationality.

What can I do if my employment visa got rejected multiple times by CID?

0
Q: Hi Everyone,
I have been working in the UAE since 2019.
Since 31 December 2024, I have been in my home country because my visa was rejected a couple of times.
After waiting for 3 months, I found a new job in the UAE, but the employer told me again that the government did not approve my visa, and that was part of the CID approval.
I would like to know if I can find something to clear my issues, which would allow me again to start my work in the UAE.

I signed an employment contract with a company and the visa was rejected. Can I seek other opportunities?

0
Q: Good day,
Pardon my lengthy question.
I had an interview on 21 December and accepted the offer letter on 26 December. The company claims to have proceeded to process my work permit with me signing the MOHRE contract on 5 January.
I have incurred costs in extending my visit visa since it expired on the 14th of January while attending work. I asked for an update on the visa situation, but they keep saying it has been rejected without giving a solid reason for rejection so we can rectify it.
A search on the MOHRE website shows the contract is there but without my signature and it's listed as "Transaction under process, unattested contract" yet I signed it.
My question is, without transparency from the employer, can I seek other opportunities?
I'm currently legally on a visit visa to avoid incurring losses.
Thank you

How to claim an amount by mistake to a company which is not responding or returning it back? 0
An "A" individual / Company by mistake transfers/deposits some funds to another "B" company.
"B" company, despite certain follow-up efforts with "A" Company to recall or claim back the wrong payment, remained unresponsive, and “A" company could not track the depositor information.
In such cases, what is the time frame within which "A" Company is liable to retain in suspense?
Can "A" company deny the claims of "B" company in the future, as it was written off by "A" company after a few months of tracking.

Can my mother claim end-of-service benefits after 18 years as a nanny? 0
Hi,
I want to inquire about my mother's labour case. She served as a nanny for an Emirati family for 18 years.
When she finished her contract, they didn’t give her anything, like end-of-service benefits, unpaid annual leave, or day-off pay.
Would she be able to get anything?

A travel agent promised us a guaranteed visit visa to Canada and failed to obtain or return our money. What to do? 0
My friend and I gave 31500 dhs to a lady in Dubai who is also a Canadian citizen. She approached us as a travel agent for a Canadian visit visa and a fake appointment letter for a job, too.
She said if we do not get a visit visa, then she will return the whole amount. It has been two years, and she has not given us the money back.
She is in Dubai and making excuses. Our whole conversation is in WhatsApp messages about money, too; we have those offer letters, too.
Please, I need good advice, how to get our money back?
I work in a big company as a sales assistant.
