Negotiating with the employee after a labour judgement
Hello,
How are you?
I won my labour case on the date of 8 Jan. In the judgment, the company should give me AED 10,000.
Today my boss called me and told me to take AED 3000 and cancel my employment visa. Otherwise, he will appeal to the court and reopen the case and take more than 1 year. So, I have a problem and better take the money, whatever he gives me.
Can you tell me what do I do? My case was termination before finishing the contract.

Dear Questioner,
I am doing good. Thanks for asking and I trust this message finds you well.
Regarding the offer given by employer; it is completely up to you if you want to accept it or not. if you are not accepting it, you may go further by filing an execution of judgement against your employer.
Once you file execution, the court will send a notification giving him 15 days time to deposit the amount in the court or to file an objection against the execution order.
If he fails to pay within the said time you have multiple ways to pressurize your employer by attaching his assets, bank account, trade license and also can file an application to apprehend the employer.
All the above procedure may take a MAXIMUM time of 3 months. I would recommend you to go ahead with the execution. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information, assistance or guidance.
Thank you.
