Q: I worked as a Graphic Designer at a document-clearing service provider company three months ago. During my employment, I was not paid for more than a month. When I inquired about the payment, my employer shouted at me and canceled my work permit on the same day without any notice. I got fired during probation and they told me to return everything immediately and not to serve during the notice period. The EOS letter I signed at that time said "Termination Type: Termination by company". Q: Dear Lawyers, I have been employed at DIFC since May 1st. They want to fire me without notice, citing a probation period of 3 months, but my contract did not specify a probation period.
