Questions & Answers
I was terminated without notice. How can I file a case against my company?
On the 24, I received my termination letter without notice.
When I asked for one day's time, they forced me to sign and I did sign the second warning letter.
I didn’t sign but on that second warning letter, I replied with a written letter with proper details.
I feel like termination is unfair, what should I do now?
If the employee feels that he has been subjected to arbitrariness, then he can file a complaint with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to seriously consider the reasons for the dismissal, and try to reach an amicable settlement between the worker and the employer.
If the Ministry fails to resolve the case amicably, it refers it to the competent court. If it is proved by the competent court that the worker has been arbitrarily dismissed, it may order the employer to pay compensation to the worker.
