Friend detained for 50 days: How to transfer case from absent prosecutor?

Good evening,

My friend has been detained for 50 days. When we enquired, we were informed that his prosecutor has been on leave since Eid.

How can we transfer the case to another prosecutor to speed up the process? He is a patient.

We can file a request and ask the public prosecution to speed it up.

Please contact our senior legal consultant, Mr. Muhammad Abdullah, on WhatsApp for further clarification.

Hello,

First, contact the Public Prosecution Department where the case is. Explain the situation including your friend's medical condition and the prosecutor's leave.

They might have the original prosecutor's return date or the possibility of a temporary replacement.

We can guide you depending on the specifics of your case.

Kindly share your WhatsApp number to discuss this.

The problem lies elsewhere, not with the Public Prosecutor, as they are not allowed to leave cases for 50 days. Make sure to determine the actual reason for the issue.

Dear Questioner,

Contact the court where your friend is detained to request a change in prosecutor.

Work with their lawyer to initiate the transfer process and seek support from human rights organizations for guidance.

Ensure their case is handled efficiently and fairly given the urgency of their medical condition.

Hope your friend receives the necessary support and care.
