NON- renewal of VISA

It will not renew or cancel but there will be a fine for overstay.

Once your residence visa is expired, your sponsor must soon renew it if you wish to continue living legally in the UAE without any fines or legal consequences.

The relevant General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) gives residents 30 days grace period to stay on after the visa expiration.

As per the Ministry of Interior’s fines system, the penalty to stay on after the expiration of the grace period is:

AED 25 per day during the first 6 months (180 days)

AED 50 per day during the second 6 months (180 days)

AED 100 per day after passing a year and more.

Remember also that by the expiration of visa validity, your Emirates ID card expires too simultaneously.

Therefore if your visa is not renewed then you must file a complaint in MOHRE within 15 days after your visa expires but before the grace period is over, requesting for renewal of visa.

Thank you so much for the message.

I need to inform you that my company terminated me, and after a long discussion, they don’t want to pay the EOSB.

Now, I just want to cancel my visa so I can get a new job offer but the company won’t cancel the visa.

My question is how I can push them to cancel the visa without my EOSB??

Appreciate your support.

They will cancel your visa only if you sign a letter that you received your end of service.

If you don't want to sign it, then you have to file a complaint in MOHRE to claim the EOSB.

I don’t know where I need to go to do claim ?? And what I need like papers with me?

Thanks

Did you lodge a complaint with the free zone?

Yes, I did! And they told me they cannot push the company to cancel the visa!!!

And I have NOC for the court but after going and coming, I closed the case. I am so tired without money...!

Please, call me tomorrow 0508855599. Give a missed call. I will help you.

No doubt it is the responsibility of employers to cancel or renew all the visas of its employees.

But if the establishment is shutting down or the employer does not renew the visa on time, or if the employer suddenly leaves the country without giving any notice to the employees, then the employee must proceed to do the needful.

The employee must first file a case with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE) to arrange the CANCELLATION OF WORK PERMIT without the need of employer’s signature.

YOU MUST DO THIS.
