Labor complaint to cancel the visa after resignation and claim EOSB

Hi

I worked in a Dubai based company for 3 years. Now, I resigned as I got a job in some other company.

So if my company does not cancel my visa and pay my EOSB after my notice period, what legal action can I take against my company and how much time the procedure will take?

Thanks

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for getting in touch with me on this.

I understand that your apprehension of the company withholding visa cancellation and EOSB is legitimate and this happens often in the UAE.

To overcome this situation, the UAE Labor Law provides a recourse by the employee filing a labour complaint against the employer for such unreasonableness.

While the labour case is on, the court will provide you with six months' temporary work permit (renewable) so as to enable you to work elsewhere while the case is on.

Regarding the EOSB, the labour case can go on up to 2-3 months depending on the complexity and courts availability.

I trust you will find the above satisfactory. You can get in touch with me for further clarification and assistance.

Regards,
