Can I resign from work after two days if I knew they have salaries issues?

I am a registered nurse who joined a hospital 2 days ago. After that, I got information from the staff that the hospital is not paying salaries correctly.

They have issues with DHA also. All of them have 3 months' pending salaries. I am on my husband's visa. I signed some joining documents and my DHA license was taken from the hospital.

I have 3 month probation period. How can I get out of the job and search for another job?

Dear Questioner

It would be better to leave in the probation period itself but after finding another job because of the reason, there are chances of putting a labor ban, if the employee leaves the company without a good reason there are chances for putting a labor ban.

Also, review the terms of your contract carefully for the termination clause and probation clauses. If you need our assistance in your matter, please share your Whatsapp number.

During the probationary period, either party to the employment contract may terminate the contract without prior notice or end-of-service gratuity.

If the worker leaves work on his own during the probationary period, he is not entitled to any entitlements for the period of work

In case of any dispute, submit a complaint to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

Dear questioner

You can leave during the probation period after serving a notice period of one month if you are planning to stay in the UAE for a job.

Also, it would be advisable to leave the job after getting another job during the probation period itself.

If you have any queries, please share your WhatsApp number to contact.

Do I need a notice period of one month in the probation period?

Only 2 days worked. The atmosphere was not good. All staff is ready to leave because of the three-month pending salary.

As per law, if you are leaving the company in probation period and still staying inside UAE to find another job, you are required to serve a notice period for one month it will be advisable to comply with the law, otherwise, report the matter with MOHRE and leave the job.

If you have not gotten any visa processed, you can leave the job and find another one.
