Getting NOC when the old sponsor is not responding to calls and emails

Q: Dear, My previous employer applied for my HAAD license linked with his sponsoring facility. After issuing the license the employer never responded to my calls or emails. I did not get a visa or entry permit and I did not join work. Now, I got a new job and the new employer asked for a NOC from the old employer to transfer the license. But again, the old employer is not responding to my emails or calls. What should I do next? Can I transfer the license to another sponsor without the NOC? If the NOC is a must even though I did not work or enter the UAE, what is the procedure? Thanks for any help.

The employer refuses to give a No Objection Letter. What to do?

Q: Hi! Good day! It has been almost 4 years of working as a security guard in a Dubai-based company on a limited contract and recently I got a job offer overseas (Malta). In order to get the visa, I need a No Objection Letter from my employer, which the employer rejected. So, Is there any way to get NOC from my employer? Or does the MOHRE or Labour Court issue the NOC on the employer's behalf?

Procedure to be followed while changing visa to another employer

Q: My husband is under my visa (wife's visa). He found a job and the company is going to give him an employment visa. Does he need to cancel his current visa in order to proceed for the company’s visa or just do the labour permit and give the No Objection letter? And if he really needs to cancel his current visa, does it affect also his medical insurance or he can still continue using it even if his visa is will be under the company’s visa? Can the school refuse to issue NOC to me after they terminated my employment contract?

I am writing to raise a concern regarding the denial of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by [----] School, Abu Dhabi, where I am currently employed as a Humanities Teacher. Although the school has officially discontinued my contract effective July 7, 2025, and I have not submitted a resignation, they are now refusing to issue an NOC. This is preventing me from accepting an opportunity with another charter school and is obstructing my right to secure alternate employment within the sector. As per my understanding from ADEK and MoHRE guidelines, an NOC cannot be denied when: - There is no non-compete clause in the contract. - The employee has not breached any contractual obligations, and - The termination was employer-initiated without a valid cause. How can I claim my settlement if the company is inactive but some branches still operate?

Hello, I got a judgment from Dubai Court stating that the employer should do my settlement. It’s been years, but I still haven't received the payment in my account. When I checked with Al Adheed Center, they said if the company is not active, it’s not possible to get the money. However, it’s a group of companies, and a few branches are still running. Is there any chance to claim it, or can I appeal directly to the court?
