UAE visa sponsor demands money for NOC: What can I do?
Dear Sir/Madam,
My employer is harassing me.
I came from Pakistan to the UAE for a computer operator job through a Pakistani agency paying 6.5 lakh PKR, but my sponsor has no company in the UAE; it is only for visas.
I am working in another company and another job.
Now my sponsor demands 300 AED per month or 4500 AED for an NOC; otherwise, he said he will cancel my work visa and I will have to apply for a new work visa under compulsion.
What can I do? I don't know anything about UAE visa law.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.
In the UAE, employers are responsible for visa sponsorship and expenses, not employees.
Your sponsor cannot demand payment from you for visa-related costs.
Discuss the situation with your current employer, and contact the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) for guidance.

Dear Questioner,
If you are on an employment visa, he can't demand any cost since you have already paid for your visa cost.
In order to advise more, we need some more details.
