Questions & Answers
Can I leave the UAE with a pending MOHRE complaint and apply for a visit visa?
Hi,
The company filed a complaint against me in MOHRE. The complaint is still ongoing, but I have to exit the UAE before October 6th because my last day is October 6th after the cancellation.
Can I exit the country if the complaint is inactive?
Can I apply for a visit visa?
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.
If you have a labor complaint against you in the UAE, exiting the country can be challenging.
Active labor complaints may prevent you from obtaining necessary clearance certificates, and immigration checks could flag the complaint, leading to difficulties at the airport.
Consult with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) to understand the status of your complaint and the procedures for resolution.
For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

Dear Questioner,
If the complaint is still active and no judgment or decree has been awarded yet, then the approval of the visa is uncertain.
You may apply and if there is any issue, you may request the same to the court and get an NOC from the court.
