What to do if employer didn't cancel my visa after termination?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I received a termination letter from my company on June 7, with a one-month notice period.

It has been two months since then, and I have not received any updates from the company on when they plan to cancel my visa.

I am no longer interested in continuing my job. What can I do to have my visa canceled?

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.

If your employer provided a termination letter with a one-month notice period, and it's been two months with no response regarding visa cancellation, take these steps:

- Continue to contact your employer.

- File a labor complaint with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources if necessary.

- Inquire at UAE immigration about self-cancellation.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will definitely be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards,

ABDUL WAHIED

If the company is not willing to cancel your visa even after serving the notice period, you may approach MOHRE to cancel your visa.

Serve them a written notice to cancel your visa or you can cancel your visa yourself.
