Security guard's breach of company accommodation: Can I take legal action?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I was at my company accommodation when my roommate and some of his friends were having a small gathering and consuming alcohol (legally purchased from MMI).
Suddenly, the security guard and the accommodation assistant in charge breached into the room without knocking or ringing the doorbell. They took all the liquor bottles and recorded a video of everyone, including myself.
I agree that consuming alcohol in staff accommodation is not allowed, but that is not my problem because I did not consume any alcohol.
My question is, is it legal for them to breach someone's privacy and take a video?
If it is illegal, how can I take action against them?

Good day,
Hope all is well!
Although it is staff accommodation, it is still a place of sleep and personal privacy.
Your room should not be entered without proper notice.
Additionally, taking a video of you without your consent is a criminal matter that you can sue for.
Dear Questioner,
If the residence is owned by the company, there is a security official for the residence, and drinking alcohol in the residence is prohibited, then filming is not in violation of the law, provided that the film is not used for display to anyone other than the company's managers.
