Can the employer ask me to pay visa cost in case of resignation?

I have completed 11 months in my current company including 1 month notice period. I have also completed my probation period.

Now I have resigned from my company serving 30 day's notice period as mentioned in the contract.

Can the employer ask to pay for visa compensation?

Is there any such rule?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out.

If you resign from your company before the completion of the contract and it's mentioned in it regarding compensation, then you are liable to pay your employer.

I didn't understand.

Sir,

If the contract has a FIXED TERM (starting date and the end date) mentioned, then if you decided to terminate the contract without completing the contract period, then your employer may ask to pay compensation.

It is a limited contract. Even if I have served the notice period and completed the probation period, I have to pay.

Yes Sir,

If you do not complete the contract period and compensation is already mentioned in your contract, then the employer can ask.
