Can the employer ask for compensation in case of resignation during probation?
Hello,
I signed a 2-year contract in a private LLC. Now I'm on a probation period. I need to leave my job and move to my country.
Is it possible to resign during the probation period?
Do I need to compensate the fees for breaking the contract with my employer?
Thanks

Dear User,
According to the UAE Labor Law, an employee may resign at any time during the probation period, provided that a notice for the resignation has been submitted according to the law (30 - days), or employment contract.
Furthermore, an employee shall not compensate the employer for costs such as visa costs, as it is against the law.
