Can I apply for a visit visa after settling credit card debt?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had a credit card debt of AED 18,000 in Dubai. I left the UAE in 2019 with an outstanding balance due to my financial situation. I have since negotiated a settlement and made payment.

I have received a settlement letter and a letter from the bank requesting the police to release the case.

My question is, can I now apply for a visit visa?

Has my travel ban been lifted?

Thank you!

Dear Questioner,

The answer to your question depends on the bank.

Legally, you are in the right position. But the bank should follow the legal process.

Sir,

I appreciated your optimistic reply.

Yes, the bank confirmed that I don't have any case from them on file. The case has been released from their side.

So, sir can I apply now for a visit visa?

Dear Questioner,

Yes, as long as they have not filed a case against you and you don't have a travel ban, you can travel without any problems.

There was a travel ban and I was having a police case as well.

But now after the settlement, the bank provided me with a clearance letter plus a paper where they requested to release the case, and then the bank confirmed that the case has been released.

Now, I am going to apply for a visit visa but not sure whether the travel ban is also lifted.

It is possible to inquire about the cases related to a particular court in one emirate, and it is produced by the existence of cases, which is the goal of the client's request.

The cost of searching for this option is 645 dirhams, not including POA fees.
